As the name indicates, a builder’s skip refers to the size of skip most commonly used for construction and demolition work. There are typically two skip sizes that may be labelled as a builder’s skip – the 6 yard and 8 yard skip. They are both heavy-duty skips that you can use to get rid of significant quantities of building and demolition materials, such as soil, rubble and bricks.

Although they are labelled a builders skip, they can be used for many other domestic and industrial waste disposal jobs.

We will ask you to confirm when you would like the skip to be delivered during the online order process, and we’ll ensure that it’s with you on the date that you have asked for. The majority of our deliveries are made between Monday and Saturday.

When you confirm your booking prior to 3pm Monday to Friday, we can typically have your skip delivered to you the next day.

Although we can’t promise what time we will arrive, we try to offer you a morning or afternoon delivery slot to manage your day more conveniently.

All we ask is that you make sure the delivery driver can access your required delivery location, as failed deliveries can result in a fee for the wasted journey.

You should not load your skip beyond the level load mark. If you fill it above the tip of this mark, it means that your skip will not be secure to move, and you can be asked to remove the extra waste before it can be picked up.
